Baby Chicks: Buff Laced Polish

None of the three polishes I ordered survived. Really hesitant to get more from here. I did appreciate y'all's efforts to help them survive, it meant a lot and your stafr is very kind.

I placed an order with 2 buff polish that I recieved 2 weeks ago. Both died so I placed another order for 6 that I recieved last week. 3 died. The other 3 are lifeless and will be dead within 24 hours probably less. I've never had any issues raising chicks. They did spend 2 days in the mail before they were delivered but I've had that happen before with 0 losses. I got other breeds in my order and all were fine except 1 which was also a polish just a different color. I would pass on getting polish here

This was my first experience purchasing from a hatchery. I had purchased from RK/TSC previously. I will never go back! I had a wonderful experience with MPC! My little Buff Laced Polish was full of personality from day one. She is so funny, energetic and curious.

Been over two weeks now and Twix has definitely developed to be the quirkiest of the bunch. First to lock eyes, first to want to perch and get some little pets. My Pet Chicken has been nothing short of amazing for all the help along the way in prepping and answering all the questions for a first time chicken owner. Can’t thank them enough.

I received my three baby chicks about 3 weeks ago. One of the chicks was visibly thinner than the other two. I have raised many chickens before, so I knew I would need to pay extra attention to her. She was the only one of the group that developed "pasty butt", and I promptly took care of that. She experienced recurrence of that two more times and I carefully washed her bottom each time. But I noticed she didn't seem to have the same energy level as her sisters and her intake wasn't as good. She grew weaker over time and finally passed away this morning. I felt sad for her and don't really know what the problem was, but I suspect something inside wasn't working correctly. My only comment is that I think the staff at My Pet Chicken should not ship out chicks that are visibly scrawny to begin with as that usually indicates there is something wrong and will most likely lead to a poor outcome.

I ordered 5 and they sent me the wrong chicks. I called customer service and they are not sure what they sent me either. However, they were very curtious and tried to help determine what it was I received. Then they sent me out 5 of these buff laced polish chicks for free as a replacement and I couldn't be happier. Their puffy little tops are adorable and they are very friendly and curious little ones. I have had them a little over a week now and they are doing very well. I even had them with some quail chicks for a while and they cuddled right up to them. When I took the quail chicks out, they were sad and chirped for them for a few hours. All chicks arrived safely and are doing well, it the buff Polish is the largest, seems the strongest, and is the "bravest", hops into my hand and isn't afraid to be picked up.

Love them. Unfortunately I lost one shortly after they arrived. Otherwise her sister Faith is quite a personality already. I always purchase from MPC for the best chicks .

They all arrived alive and healthy and doing well. They are so cute. Thank you
