Description:
Exclusively ours! We blogged about how much we love our Favaucanas a few years back and we were shocked by the overwhelming response, so we decided to breed them just for you!
We adore this designer breed for its many wonderful qualities: Extreme docility; sage-green, medium to large eggs; beautiful little muffs, beards, and lightly feathered feet, (some with five toes!). They have pea combs and profuse feathering for cold-hardiness. Their slender body size helps with heat-tolerance. Then, of course, their overall appearance, something like a blue or black hawk, simply turns heads.
Due to the genetics of the blue plumage color, these Favaucanas will hatch out with plumages of Blue or Black. Unfortunately, we are unable to take requests for specific colors.
1/16th of Blue Favaucanas lay a light brown egg.

Growing quickly & the smartest of the bunch. Little escape artist. A little bit more flighty than the pure faverolles and the wyandotte - likes jumping & being up high.

She is such a cute chick. She is the most active and adventurous out of the bunch. She started jumping on top of the brooder at day 3. She is also very sweet and friendly. Loves to climb all over my hand and arm.

I received two, they’re so sweet and pretty that I orders another one for the next week, it unfortunately didn’t make it. My original two are just so sweet and growing great!

Our Miss Marcy is a favorite in our flock. She has an outgoing curious nature and loves to talk! If you’re not opening the coop door fast enough she lets you know lol! This hen lays the prettiest green eggs and actually was one of our first in this batch of chicks to begin laying! She is super friendly and my kids love holding her. We will definitely be getting more of this breed soon!
