Le Fleche
Look closely at the photo to see why the La Flache is also called the Devil Bird! The unusual V-comb looks like horns, hence the nickname. This French breed has large white earlobes, and it is valued for its supposedly tasty white meat. It's not a particularly good choice for the suburban backyard flock, because despite it's great foraging ability, it's reputed to be a wilder breed that avoids human contact, as well as a good flyer that likes to roost in trees.
