Our Certified Organic, Soy-Free 21% Protein Poultry Starter is a complete nutritional feed of North American Organic grains supplemented with organic alfalfa, kelp, flaxseed, and Poultry Nutribalancer and ground finely for chicks. Fully balanced with all the nutrients your chicks need, this feed also includes probiotics to help improve digestive health to optimize nutrition.
This feed is designed for free feeding to young chicks aged 0 to 4 weeks to sustain fast growth. At 5 weeks of age, transition to our Grower feed.

I got this feed for my first ever experience having chicks or chickens of any kind. The chicks are thriving. My friends who have chickens warned me that if I look at the chicks sideways, they'll die...but I must say, my chicks are hearty, growing, healthy, and energetic. I have nothing to compare this feed to, but my experience has been so positive, that I would be hesitant to use any other

My chicks love it! I temporarily tried another brand because I ran out of this one and they did not come running to the feeder as usual. Their favorite is the organic soy free starter feed from My Pet Chicken :)

The chick starter feed I received is basically dust. There isn’t any crumble in it at all, it’s just powder. I was very disappointed.

My chicks loved this! One 25lb bag lasted exactly 5 weeks for my 5 baby chicks before I switched them over to the grower feed. They are all super healthy.

The Organic Soy Free Chick Starter arrived promptly. The babies love it! One problem - the older girls, 11 month old layers - love it too. I have to separate them periodically throughout the day, with their food, to make sure everyone's getting their proper nutrition.

I really like this organic shock starter and so do our chicks. They eat it easily and enjoy chasing around when they find there token corn prized nugget.
Very clean food healthy food to start your chicks on.
