Our organic and medication-free Layer Feed is a "complete feed" containing everything your layers need to thrive.
Our Certified Organic, Soy-Free 17% Protein Layer Feed is a complete nutritional feed of cracked and milled grain that's supplemented with organic kelp and alfalfa, and Poultry Nutri-Balancer. Designed for adult laying hens, our layer feed is formulated with additional calcium for egg shell strength and organic flaxseed to increase the omega-3 content of the eggs. Made exclusively with North American Organic Grains.

Our chickens love this food! Used to purchase another brand at the local farm supply store, but this feed is their favorite.

first time buying food from My Pet Chicken. Looks good to me being a human but my chickens seem to only like certain ingredients. There are always left overs...... I may try the pellets at some point. I have on 3 bantams.

Chickens can be rather fussy eaters contrary to what some may have heard about their eating anything and everything :-) Sometimes, if you really want them to eat what you are providing, limiting their options can encourage the fussy eaters to dine on what is provided. I had my girls on one of the Cargill feeds and laying had slowed quite a bit. Made the switch to Organic Soy & Corn Free Layer Feed and my hens just love it! I left their previous food in the coop but it was left uneaten. They're all in on the Organic Soy & Corn Free Layer Feed and they're all laying again! Just ordered the 50 lb bag.

I mix it with crumbles from our local farm store to make it affordable. They love this mix so much and they are beautiful, healthy birds.

I was getting a different layer feed that I purchased off of Amazon and the girls would eat it, but not much and I felt like that it may go bad in the bag so I thought I would try something different for them, and WOW!!! They are going through this feed like there is no tomorrow!! and so nutritious!! Along with all the fresh fruit and veggies that I give them, (I make them a big chef salad every day with all kinds of goodies for them) they are getting nothing but the best! Thank you My Pet Chicken!!
