Description:
In French, "Mille Fleur" translates as "Thousand Flowers"–a poetic name appropriate for such magnificent plumage. The Mille Fleur pattern consists of a base of warm mahogany feathers, each one marked with a black crescent-moon, and tipped with a gibbous silver spangle. Picture yourself holding your soft little bearded, booted Mille Fleur hen: The overall effect is that you are bearing tiny bouquet of cheery flowers or a collection of sparkling stars!
These birds are known for their mysterious, quirky expressions, and are quite friendly: a true favorite of adults and children alike. They are fair layers of tiny, creamy colored eggs. Their mature coloring takes time to manifest and does not usually appear until after the first adult molt.

I love my Orange beauty. This chicken is the calmest, most affectionate, easy to handle. Her personality is that of a very delicate, quiet, gentle and elegant chicken. She is my favorite, every day I take her in my hands and always spoil her with something tasty. She is 6 months old and has not laid eggs yet, but you can hold her just to get positive emotions...😊

Baby Chicks: Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam Female
A year ago I got 4 female Belgian D'Uccle babies, and they have been DELIGHTS. Beautiful, friendly birds, easy keepers, started laying on time, and have laid eggs nearly every day since they got going. The eggs are small, but they are tasty. Lovely birds to have, and they trill outside my office window all day and greet us excitedly when we come home.

Ordered a roo, got a hen...lol! Usually the other way around! But very sweet, very healthy, 6 months old now and the kids' favorite! Named Napoleon when received because we thought she was a boy. She loves cuddles and free ranges with all the big hens. She's my only bantam. I can't say enough how beautiful she is! We love her!

We offer a live bird sexing error guarantee and we will refund you for any bird that has been incorrectly sexed, provided we are notified within the appropriate time frames. For breeds except silkies, that is between 14 to 22 weeks of the original ship date. Silkies take a bit longer to mature so they get a few more weeks and have until 19-30 from their ship date. We have reached out to you directly about your sexing error. Again, we are sorry for this error but are happy to hear your little hen has been a happy addition to your flock any way!

I received this chick initially with no issues. She appeared healthy and was one of my favorites because of how sweet she was with a big personality. At about 2 weeks I noticed that her beak was slightly crooked. At weeks her cross beak was so bad she couldn’t really eat or drink despite assistance. She just passed today. I had grown attached to her because of how sweet and docile she was. I will be getting another one at some point in the future because of how much I loved the personality.

She, Claudia, is so sweet and easy to hold. Bonding very nicely. Her tiny little feathers are coming in and are just beautiful!!! HIGHLY recommend this lovely chic!

These are my favorite little hens. They are half the size of my other hens and eggs are also half the size. They are constantly broody and I give them fertilized eggs each spring to hatch and they happily “mother” regular sized chicks. They are the cutest fluffy feet and get along fine with the other normal sized hens. They are easy to pick up and tolerate me petting their fluffy cheeks 🥰

Friendliest and most beautiful chick we've had. Currently 7 years old and survived multiple attacks from prey. She is also the easiest in our flock to catch and hold. The last two years, I've taken her in for show and tell when our school hatches eggs.
