Description:
These White Crested Blue Polish chickens are a very special and rare breed of chicken with a huge bouffant crest of feathers and v-shaped comb.
They are tame but their behavior can be a bit wacky since their crest limits their vision. When in a flock with more aggressive breeds, Polish will tend to be on the low end of the pecking order.
Egg laying is varied in this breed - some lay well and some very poorly. In short, Polish are sweet, beautiful exhibition birds and can be good layers in the backyard flock, but they're not reliable.

My chicks are a week old today. Both of the Polishes I purchased are very active and skittish right now. I’m sure they will calm down in a few weeks. I received them on time and in great shape.

Baby Chicks: White Crested Blue Polish Female
Let me start by saying I am very happy with our order of 5 chicks from MPC. We received our tiny chicks in April and now by October they are all healthy girls laying wonderful eggs.
Our polish is actually not blue, she stayed all white but we don't mind, makes her unique. She's what you would expect from a polish, a little skittish and confused but very sweet and very entertaining, she's also very friendly with my toddler and lets her pick her up or feed her by hand. Bottom of the pecking order but luckily noone is too mean to her. She started laying cute small white eggs. We couldn't be happier.

Oh I love her! She does a good enough job egg laying. She's worth it just for the entertainment value. She's number one of 3 chickens ruling the roost bur friendly.
