These fashionable and oh-so-helpful chicken diapers are designed and sewn by a chicken keeper who's also a former fashion industry pro. Our diaper is handmade in the USA with care and comes with all the "extras" to make cleanup easy. It's easy to secure on your hen, simple to position, and super durable. The pouch is lined for extra security against spills. Included with each order are simple instructions as well as one, easily removable, heavy-duty vinyl liner that Velcros into place. (Liners for the different-sized diapers are all the same size, in case you were wondering.)
To keep your chicken's diaper looking like new, hand wash and lay flat to dry. Each diaper is custom-made.
Chicken diapers are great for:
- Injured hens that need to recuperate indoors.
- Show birds that need to be separated from the flock in the months before the show.
- Broody hens you've temporarily brought inside to "break" of broodiness.
- Small: For bantams 2 to 3.5 pounds. Examples: Silkies, Cochin bantams, Brahma Bantams
- Medium: For birds, 3.5 to 5.5 pounds. Examples: Ameraucana, Andalusian, Campine, Dominique, Hamburg, Leghorn, Old English Game, Phoenix, Polish, Sultan.
- Large: For birds, 5.5 to 7.5 pounds. Examples: Australorp, Barnevelder, Buckeye, Chantecler, Delaware, Faverolles, Marans, Naked Neck, New Hampshire, Plymouth Rock, Rhode Island Red, Sussex, Welsummer.

I purchased a green M chicken diaper with 4 replacement liners. When it arrived the color was not the same at all as the image online. Color aside, the diaper does not work either. I read the instructions and followed accordingly. The diaper body correctly fits my Leghorn, but the plastic cup in the back continually slides below the vent. Not once over a week and many adjustments has the diaper caught any poop, resulting in quite a mess on my hardwood floors. I’m really disappointed in the product, especially after spending over $50.

Fabulous product and my chicken is loving life. The sizing was small and i was pulling on her deathers to get it for us so i exchanged for a large. This was too big, but i am able to safety pin the straps together so they secure above her tail feathers. This keeps it in place andits roomy enough.. Our chicken is out in it everyday and wears it easily for almost 12 hours. Some people may prefer to change it more frequently and i would definately recommend that if the diaper is on the small side. You wouldbt want fecal matter against her skin for long periods of time. With plenty of room in the diaper. She can lay an egg and its r oomy enough to go for a day. She is loving the life. I would prob choose a darker color, though because she rolls in the dirt and it can look like poopy diaper, but its just dirt.

When the diaper arrived, I was thrilled at how well it fit. I put it on my Cochin Bantam. She didn't move much the first day as she was adjusting to it so it worked very well. The second day she was used to it so she started roaming around the house. Unfortunately the diaper didn't perform very well as she was mobile. We had blow outs every time she pooped. Very disappointed as I had to put her back outside.

Easy to put on my hen and keeps the house mess free when she has indoor time. My hen needed to get used to wearing the diaper at first but adjusted quickly. Great diaper and cute pattern.
