Instructions and usage tips

• Remove the lid and add 3-4 Tablespoons of raw, organic apple cider vinegar or add a poultry water protector, such as First Saturday Lime, to prevent algae.
• Fill with 5 gallons of water and close the lid, ensuring a secure fit.
• Remove all other water sources and gather chickens around the waterer.
• Tap the nipples until water fills the lip (the red color naturally attracts chickens.) Once one chicken begins drinking, the others are sure to follow!
• Check water levels daily (or longer) depending on your flock size, and refill as needed. Discard any stale water before refilling.
• You can place blocks or bricks under the Waterer to accommodate your chickens’ drinking height needs.
