Description:
Green Queen Bantams are super layers of small, predominantly green eggs* and have also been known to lay shades of blue eggs. This is a multi-generational, multi-breed, "project" we have been working on for some time. Our goal: to produce a beautiful, easygoing bantam who is extremely hardy, and a prolific egg layer.
Looks can vary! Most will be bearded; some will have lightly feathered legs and feet, and some will even have five toes! Its plumage color will vary, frequently blue, black, white, and barred, and sometimes even silked or frizzle feathers.
Easter Eggers are loved for their sweet personalities, hardiness in both the heat and cold, and for their eggs in all different shades of green and blue (a small percentage even lay a light pinkish brown color!)
*Please note that while this breed chiefly lays sage green to aqua-tinted eggs, a small percentage will lay another color, including tinted, brown or even pinkish. Each hen will give ONE egg color. The egg color will not change from one egg being laid to another. For example, if your hen has just laid a green egg, it will lay a green egg its entire life.

Pullet Shipping Information
- All Started Juveniles are shipped USPS Express Mail.
- Due to import regulations, we cannot ship to Iowa, West Virgina, Texas, Hawaii, and Nevada.
- Pullets will ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the designated shipping week. You will receive an email with tracking information once they leave the farm.

Pullet: Bantam Green Queen Easter Egger
I got lucky and my green queen bantam was a frizzle! She is so spunky and such a fun addition to our little flock. All of my pullets are still in great health, and are starting to acclimate to living in our family. We love our chickens, and Miss Frizzle is a joy to have around. I can't wait to see what color her eggs will be!

Pullets: Green Queen Easter Egger
Our Queen Easter Eggers are about 5 months old now and the favorite out of the 6 pullets we ordered. "Pigley" is dark black with a green iridescent shine, has a fluffy face and feet and five toes. She's incredibly friendly with the kids and loves to eat figs and flowers. "Elsa", the other queen look just like the above photo but she is mostly white. Very happy with these girls.

We purchased one of these 6 week old pullets from here a couple months back and she arrived with the other two chicks a little nervous but in good health. Of the three breeds that we purchase, she is by far the most relaxed bird. The kids have named her Calm because that's her personality. From day 1 the kids could pick her up and have her on their lap. She doesn't mind at all. She is also beautiful. Her face is hawk-like. We don't know what color eggs she will lay yet but she is well worth the money we spent on her for her temperament alone.

Pullets: Green Queen Easter Egger
I recieved 3 absolutely beautiful birds with hawklike features. The blond one has olive green legs, the other two are very much like hawks in their patterns with copper and mahogany mixed in. They each lay green eggs, one of them lays about 6 a week, one 5 a week, and the last one about 4 a week. They have large sized eggs already, especially for their age. They are almost as big as australorpe and orpington eggs. So healthy and happy, just like all the chicks we got from you wonderful folks. Keep up the great work. So nice to know we can get great girls from somewhere. Even our bantam blue silkie who was egg sized for six weeks is now bigger and fluffier than her sister who helped to raise her under her wing like a momma. So beautiful...and her sister started laying at 6 months which is early. Supposed to be 8-10. So wow!

Pullets: Green Queen Easter Egger
I am so disappointed. The two Green Queens in our order both lay brown eggs. To make matters worse, I also ordered a Cuckoo Bluebar that also is laying brown eggs and the Ameraucana pullet I ordered turned out to be a rooster so no blue or green eggs for me. The only reason I added to my flock was to have egg color variety and unfortunately I am now at capacity and have no room to add to my flock. Even more disappointing is having paid so much for them when I could have purchased much cheaper birds that would have laid a brown egg every day. I should have ordered regular Easter eggers for way less money and probably would have had a much better chance of getting colored eggs. I feel like I was duped with these “designer” breeds.
