Description:
Barred Plymouth Rocks, or "Barred Rocks," as they're called, are one of the most popular dual-purpose chickens on small farms today. Their heritage is unclear, with reports of different crosses, but what is clear is that they're very friendly, great layers of large brown eggs, and are able to withstand cold weather quite nicely.

Benefits of Purchasing Pullets
- Started pullets are an excellent option for people who don't have the time, equipment, or desire to care for chicks.
- These juvenile chicks are sexed twice, once at hatch and again at six weeks old, which reduces your chance of ending up with roosters.
- The minimum order is just 2 chicks!
Additional Pullet Information
- These pullets will be vaccinated for Marek's disease and MG (Mycoplasma gallisepticum)
- Our six-week started pullets are floor-raised and socialized with humans, and their beaks are intact--we never trim.
- Please keep your 6-week-olds quarantined from your existing flock for four or more weeks, and take care when introducing them.

Pullet Shipping Information
- All Started Juveniles are shipped USPS Express Mail.
- Due to import regulations, we cannot ship to Iowa, Nevada, West Virginia, Texas, or Hawaii.
- Pullets will ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the designated shipping week. You will receive an email with tracking information once they leave the farm.

We received our hens in a package with two Rhode Island Reds. The hens were all healthy and are now running around in their new coop/run.

I ordered one Plymouth rock to go along with two speckled Sussex and they are amazing together! The Plymouth is much larger, but so far she is the friendliest one and is always first out in the morning for food. She arrived in perfect health and is doing great. Highly recommend.

Birds showed up alive and healthy, as well as on time as to shipping. I had a couple questions for my pet chicken, and customer service was great! If I had more room, I’d purchase sooo many more ducks and chickens from this company!

Our little pullet arrived healthy and spunky. I live in an island in WA state and was worried about how long it would take for them arrive - it only took two days. Phew!
We’re still getting to know each other, but she is beautiful and already taking treats from our hands. I love that she still makes chick peeps, but is way less fragile than the babies. So far so good!
